It was a last minute announcement and man was it worth the 2 hours sitting on a V twin 990cc trip to get there.

Spent the eve watching Nick Oliveri from Kyuss and QOTSA present. He does it with an amazing amount of style too. Fear not, we are not talking about some watered down acoustic lullaby set here. Nick Oliveri is a force to be reckoned with. From carving up complicated riffs and rhythm sections on his acoustic to vocal solo’s of some of his most influential tunes.

With a stage overflowing at one point full of fans they all combined to belt out “Feel Good Hit of the Summer” with a cascade of voices, all in toe and showing why he and everything he touches turns to gold.

If you get the chance go and see him, one of the most inspiring shows I have ever seen, and I have seen a lot.
